NextGen isn’t your average bull riding association that runs a few qualifiers and calls it a season. We’re here to do something bigger. The NextGen Bull Riding Foundation is building a national platform that develops every athlete in the sport — from riders and bullfighters to safety men, stock contractors, and clowns.
Our mission is to build longevity and excellence in a sport that too often burns young athletes out. Through local teams, consistent coaching, and the Frost Legacy Training Methods, riders of all ages gain the physical conditioning, spiritual balance, and mental strength to thrive for years to come.
So ask yourself — do you really need another “world finals,” or are you ready to join a movement that turns passion into progress and potential into performance?
Unlike one-off camps, our model provides consistent access to practice pens, structured exercise programs, and hands-on mentorship, allowing athletes to grow steadily in skill, confidence, and resilience. Backed by the insight of seasoned professionals and supported by stock contractors across the country, NextGen will create real opportunities for western athletes to train, learn, and rise, day in and day out.

Whether you are 6, 16, or 26, we’re not just redefining bull riding; we’re building a platform that will define your bull riding career.

Team Based Format
At the core of NextGen is a team-based format, where each region builds a team of 10 riders—two in each age division, along with five alternates to ensure continuity and safety in the event of injuries. This approach fosters camaraderie, accountability, and strategic development.
Professional Mentors
Each team is partnered with one or two professional bull riders, who mentor the youth through an intensive 2–3 month training period. These professionals are more than coaches—they are role models committed to instilling skills, confidence, and discipline.
Regional Clinics
To further enhance learning and visibility, NextGen hosts 3-day regional clinics featuring top-tier rodeo professionals such as World Champion Joe Frost. These clinics culminate in a dynamic pro-am event, where youth and pros compete side by side.
